How long will it take to complete the repairs?

We try to complete most repairs the same day. If this is not possible, we always will communicate this to you so the proper arrangements are made.

How much will it cost?

Set prices are not very common as vehicles advance. Due to the complexity of systems and variety of how vehicles are made, bringing your vehicle in for a quote is always the best option.

My car is running rough. Do I need a tune-up?

Tune ups are a thing of the past. Chances are if your vehicle is newer than 1995 a tune-up will only lighten your wallet. A diagnostic is always the best first step.

Is there a charge to check out my car?

Yes. To properly diagnose your vehicles issue we need to spend time verifying your problem and making sure your vehicle leaves fixed.

Do I need an appointment for a repair?

Due to our busy schedule and getting customers vehicles finished on time, an appointment is almost always necessary.

What credit cards do you take? Other forms of payment?

We accept all major forms of credit cards, although there is a 3% service charge for credit. Debit, cash and checks are also acceptable forms of payment.

Why does my car need maintenance if it's running fine?
Regular maintenance of your vehicle protects your investment, helps to prevent breakdowns, and will save you on the cost of repairs in the future.
What will happen if I don't have the repairs done right now?

This is a great question that should always be asked by the customer. While some repairs may be safety related, other can just be recommendations to keep your vehicle in top shape.

What Should I Do When My Check Engine Lights Come On?

A check engine light can be a multitude of different problems. The first thing should be make sure you are safe to drive your vehicle. Then schedule an appointment for a diagnostic.

How Often Should I Have My Vehicle Inspected?

At Precision Auto, we inspect your vehicle every time it comes into our shop. But a good schedule to keep is every 3 months.

Does where I get my oil change matter?

Besides having your vehicle properly serviced and inspected thoroughly, the right oil and filter makes all the difference. At Precision Auto we only service vehicles with manufacturer recommended items.

Can I bring my own/used parts?

We do not allow outside parts to be brought in. Used parts are never reliable, and when bringing your own parts they often can be wrong, causing down time and extra charges.
